We are in the process of renovating Virgil from top to bottom in order to provide our residents with a soothing, yet stimulating, environment and comfortable surroundings. Work has commenced throughout Virgil with a focus on upgrading the resident rooms; renovating the public spaces including the hallways, living room and dining room; expanding the rehabilitation area and adding new equipment; replacing the nurses' stations and adding new technology to aid in resident care; changing the front entrance to allow better access; and allowing our residents to enjoy the fresh air by providing a redesigned courtyard.

Our primary focus has always been and will always be our residents – for this reason we are working to ensure that no one is disrupted by the transformation of the new Virgil.
Our architects and designers will transform the facility, room-by-room as rooms open up, ensuring an uninterrupted experience for all of our residents. In addition, a majority of the work being done to Virgil is known as “non-invasive” which means most of the work is done elsewhere, and completed updates are brought in and installed quickly.
